Prices for notebook computers are primed to drop soon, says DealNews, a price-tracking web site. Their Dealwatch chart (click to enlarge) reveals that for the average cost of a 2Ghz laptop, prices are cheaper during the the classic "back to school" season--August to September. If you can hold out longer, the best time of year overall may be April (based on past price swings). In any case, start saving now to get a good deal soon!
